i stood there watching your way

i loved that smile you wore for me

that touch, that look that sets me free

and even when we are apart

when you think there’s no way for a new start

i want you to know i’ll hold you tight

won’t ever let you out of my sight

a surge of emotion within me flows

’cause baby, we’re miles apart, a breath close
